1. The Malayalam Community will celebrate the Feast of St. Alphonsa on 26^th July Friday at 3:00 pm. All are invited to participate in this celebration. 
2. We are organizing the Pilgrimage to the Holy Door at Abu Dhabi Cathedral, as we celebrate the Jubilee Year of St. Arethas and Companion Martyrs on 8^th, 9^th, and 10^th of August. Those who are willing to go on this pilgrimage kindly register your names in the Parish Office before the 27^th of July 2024. The entire travel cost including visa would be 140/- Rials
3. The Marriage Preparation Course will be on 26^th and 27^th July (Friday and Saturday) in Ghala. Kindly register your names at Ghala Parish.
4. The Family Ministry of our Parish will be celebrating Senior Citizens’ Day on 9^th August. We encourage all the Senior Citizens of our Parish, above the age of 60 to participate in this celebration. Kindly register your names at the Parish Office before the 31^st of July 2024.
5. Next year is the great Jubilee Year 2025. The Holy Father has given the call to the Youth to celebrate this Jubilee in Rome known as JOY – that is Jubilee of the Youth from July 28 to August 3, 2025 - A mini–World Youth Day for Youth & Young Adults from 18 to 35 years of age. Those who wish to join this mini–World Youth Day kindly register their names on the AVOSA website wyd.avosa.org or contact the Parish Office.
6. Please note that in the next Catechetical Year 2024-2025 we will begin catechism for children with special needs or differently abled. Faith formation being the baptismal right of every catholic should also therefore be given to those with special needs. Hence our Vicariate and our Parish encourage parents having children with special needs to register their children at Ghala Parish. The catechist who is also a special educator. Please contact Ghala Parish Office for more details.
7. The Relic of St. Arethas will arrive on 31^st July to our Parish. We shall solemnly welcome the relic during the 7:00 pm mass on that day. We shall be receiving the Relic at the Main stage at 7:00 pm, followed by processing to the Church and the Eucharistic Celebration. the Relic will be installed and kept for veneration for 9 days at the Church. We shall have 9 days of novena and prayers. On 8^th August it will be handed over to Ghala Parish. All the communities will be taking the responsibility in leading the novena and the liturgy during these 9 days. You are welcome to present your prayer requests and to give testimony, as God answers your prayers through the intercession of St. Arethas and Companion Martyrs.
8. Catechism for the new catechetical year 2024-2025 will commence on Saturday, August 2024. Catechism and Children mass timings are as follows:

For Juniors (class 1-5) - Catechism at 4:00 pm followed by mass at 5:00 pm

For Seniors (Class 6 to 12) Children mass at 4:00 pm followed by catechism at 5:00 pm

Kindly note that there will be no online registration.  Registration forms will be distributed to the children in class on the first day of catechism for all existing and new admissions.

Later registration forms will be available in the Catechism office on Saturdays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and in the Parish office during office hours on weekdays.
